Art Valuations is regularly requested to do valuations for international museums, collectors, family and company collections, insurance companies and other parties. Among these are valuations for gift tax when works of art are donated to museums, insurance valuations for works which are loaned to foreign exhibitions, insurance valuations for private collections and companies, and valuations of insurance damage. We are of course very discrete about these valuations, but may mention some examples, such as the valuation for the owners of the drawing of 'The Crucifixion', attributed to an artist working in the circle of Jan van Eyck, which was sold to Museum Boymans van Beuningen in Rotterdam in 2013.
